Peppa Pig is such a great show. My children just love everything about them, from their cute British accents to the way they fall over and laugh at the end of each episode. One of their favorite things is when they jump in muddy puddles. This show is great because it's a realistic depiction of family life, just in animal form. The different species of animals represent the diversity of people and shows just how easy it can be for all of us to get along. This DVD set includes twelve of our favorite episodes.

If you have a Peppa Pig lover in your house, this is a MUST!! We've recorded the individual shows when they come on TV before, but it's SO annoying to have to fast forward to the start of the show, just for it to be over in 20 minutes -- and then your kids ask for another show to watch. This DVD has 14 episodes and runs for 70 minutes! Do you know how much a mom can get done in that time?!? This is probably one of the best purchases I've made for my kids!

I don't know what it is but my daughter loves Peppa Pig. Maybe its cute accent or the bright colors of the show but she gets excited when Peppa is on. This new DVD is great because it contains 14 episodes, yes 14, so we can watch Peppa whenever and wherever we want. The show is wholesome and has simple lessons for kids, perfect for young kids to grasp.

Peppa Pig is simply wonderful

My girls are both ostensibly beyond the age-range for Peppa and her family, but them so I am. This doesn't matter. Peppa Pig is so charming, so delightful warm and breezy that it is hard for me to imagine much of anybody at any age not being won over after a couple of episodes. The secret, to me, is that gentle and friendly as they are, they are completely devoid of mawkishness and sugary sentiment.

The humor is often sly, though never of the this-is-for-the-grown-ups-and-the-kids-won't-get-it variety. If you spend any time around little kids, you know good and well that there is a lot of overlapping sense of humor and Peppa does a nice job of this while never coming within miles of snark, sarcasm or mean spirit. Peppa and her family are, quite simply, wonderful.

No new episodes, but still great.

Like the "Flying a Kite" or "Muddy Puddle", this movie is a collection of existing episodes. So if you own all 6 seasons of Peppa Pig, you might not like to spend extra money on this movie. The only reason one wants to buy this movie is if she/he want to have Peppa Pig plays continuously for 1 hour.

One additional difference between this one and the other long movie is that it doesn't have the break between episodes (the part where Peppa introduces her family).
