I've been a fan since 1985! I remember seeing this movie for the first time on a VHS tape when I turned 12 years old😱 I remember it since that day that I've been a fan ever since I first saw those movies with the rest of the crew from Back To The Future thank you Michael J Fox. & Thank you for the memories Christopher Lloyd with the rest of the cast members to BTTF!😎

A must have for the fanatic fans.........get also the new BTTF visual history book
This is yet to be released so here is the latest update from internet.
U get all 3 movies either in blu ray or in dvd version box set including 2 more hours of NEW EXTRAS which is one reason to buy this set if u are a fanatic BTTF fan.
Another reason to buy this is cause u get for the first time and only in dvd format (either if u buy the dvd or the blu ray box set) the 1992 animated series of 26 episodes with also a bit of new extras plus u get an excerpt of the new book which is called the visual history of back to the future.
Now this book is more than 200 pages but u get around 64 pages from that stuff IF U BUY THIS DVD OR THE BLU RAY BOX SET of this release.

ALL IN ALL

If u already own the 3 movies and u don't care about books and animations then skip this stuff.
if u do care and u want to have them all then buy this set (dvd or blu ray) and u get except for the 3 movies TWO more hours of new extras plus the whole animated series...

A Fuller, More Cohesive Film
The Rogue Cut for many will be the definitive version of Days of Future Past. It adds character, motivation, and cohesiveness to the story. Is any of it necessary? No, the Theatrical version (also included on this disc) tells the exact same story, just tighter. But this BluRay has more than enough substance to be worth the purchase.

In terms of the Rogue Cut itself, what we have is a film that - at 17 minutes longer - breathes just a little bit more. The direness of the future is expanded upon with additional dialogue, an emotional scene between Raven and Hank (who only had an occasional glance in the theatrical version) gives us more development into their characters, and a last-attempt rescue brings Rogue in to help focus Wolverine in the past when he most needs it. Bringing Rogue into the film was unnecessary, but the way the sequence is cut together - with Old Magneto breaking into the mansion to rescue Rogue while Young Magneto breaks into the pentagon - is beautifully...
A great movie made greater
The original release of this film was a fantastic one. It was my favorite release from all 5 of the X-Men films to date. If you were to count this edition as a separate, 6th film, it would easily take its place atop that list. I love the seamless integration of the added footage, and Rogue's scenes give us a much fairer and more appropriate send-off to the character. For a movie that was partly intended to be the final good-bye to the cast (and characters) of the original trilogy, the Rogue Cut gives us all what we deserved.

(Minor spoilers ahead) If you've read any of Singer's interviews about the deleted scenes, then you already know the general purpose she serves in the added scenes. When Wolverine hurts Kitty, the team rallies to go find Rogue, bring her back, then have her absorb Kitty's powers to take over on her behalf.

While this doesn't change the overall plot or progress from the theatrical release, it does give the viewer several "a ha!"...
A Cut above a simple Director's Cut re-release.

Rarely does a different "Cut" of a movie give you anything more than just added scenes, but the way the story was tied together so seamlessly with the Rogue storyline inserted as it was meant to be, it also gives you plenty of Easter Eggs regarding other characters and their future roles in upcoming X Men Apocalypse. I thoroughly enjoyed this and find it well worth every penny spent to buy it. I don't just consider it a Cut, but an entirely different movie in and of itself. Great addition to the True X Men fans and all who love this saga.

Don't listen to any of these reviews prior to Oct 20th. The item hasn't been released yet. How can there be a 1 star review for something that doesn't exist yet?? Amazon needs to do something about these loons. Ignore my 5 star rating as well.. (even though we all know it's going to be awesome)

I love the films but they deserve much more than what ...

After 25 years I'm still a diehard fan for the BTTF movies!

It's great that it's coming out In October because my birthday is on the 26 to be precise! When I first saw this movie I was going on 12.. Anyway I've been a fan ever since 1985! The price is not cheap for Blu ray unlike the DVD box set I paid only $34.00 for it not for this its $45.00 to $88.00 not including tax & shipping.😔😖
